Here are my thoughts:

I've read some of the other reviews on this, and I don't really understand why people have trouble using these. For me, they couldn't have been easier to snap on. True, getting them off wasn't as easy, but it wasn't hard either. And I think it's a good thing that they don't come off easily. One of the best things about them is they stay in place, they don't slide down the cord at all. And I love the cute assortment of colors. I do think they achieve their task of keeping the cords from bending too much, but the cords can still bend a little bit. So I don't know if that is still causing wear or not.
