Here are my thoughts:

This thing is pretty powerful for such a small massager. My husband has been struggling with a kinked neck recently and we used this on him for 5-10 minutes a few times a day and it really helped relax and soothe the muscles in his neck. He was able to turn his head to the side without pain.

It has three settings, off, low and high, and you use the same button to cycle through them. There is definitely a big difference between low and high, but they both work really well. When it is turned on there is a red light that turns on at the end. As far as I can tell it serves no other purpose than to signal that the massager is on. It does not provide heat or anything like that.

This requires 2 AA batteries to operate. However, they are not included and that's something I'm never impressed with.
