Honeybuns Healing Ointment for Babies by Era Organics
Here's what Amazon says about the product details:
Here are my thoughts:
This ointment is so different from anything else I've used for my babies, but I really like it. It really has soothed and moisturized. My children have sensitive skin and eczema. They get little rash breakouts that they try to scratch raw. But when I coated the spots with this they didn't try to scratch anymore, such a relief!
With a name like Honeybuns I expected it to smell sweet like honey, but it actually doesn't have much of a smell. If anything it smells more like wax to me. It's a very thick, kind of hardened ointment, almost like hardened Vaseline or Neosporin. I was a little worried about how thick it was when I first opened it, but it turned out it spreads very easily. And a little goes a long way!
I do think it's a bit pricier than what I'm normally comfortable with. However, with the results I got I believe it to be a good value.

Done :) I'd love to try this out
ReplyDeleteAdded to my wish list! Under name Jenna Parsons :)
ReplyDeleteDone! Do you think this is too thick to use as a normal baby lotion? (also, I assume it's safe to use on baby's hands aka they eat it?)
ReplyDeleteAmanda, it's an ointment so it's oil based. I think if you used it like an all over lotion your baby would be kind of greasy. I definitely think that it's safe to use on hands though as it's toxin and chemical free. Thanks for entering! So far your chances are good, lol. :)
DeleteAnd the winner is... Jenna Parsons! Congrats Jenna! I will contact you for details.
