Here are my thoughts:

We eat a lot of pasta in our house, pretty much every day. So it is very useful to have multiple colanders and strainers around. But our kitchen has very little available storage, so having a colander with a collapsible feature is so key for us. This particular colander is really nice quality. It is extremely sturdy and has a good depth and shape to it. It does take a bit more force to pop it open than I would prefer though. Also I worry about the parts that are constructed with stainless steel as any metal colander I've had in the past has gotten rusty. So far so good though.
