Here are my thoughts:

My baby has extremely sensitive skin that does not react well to a lot of things from fragrances to synthetic material. I have been trying to do everything possible to keep her from getting horrible rashes. I got this bib in the hopes that the organic cotton would be gentle on her skin. I did wash it before using it like I do with everything I put on her, just in case. But I am happy to say that there were no issues from the bib. It's very soft feeling and a nice size that covers pretty much the whole front of her. I got it in red and it is a very pretty, rich red that I feel is unisex.
