Here are my thoughts:

We have such a small kitchen and I have an obsession with getting new kitchen stuff all the time. I have completely run out of storage space and I had nowhere to put my knives. So this seemed like a great solution. It worked out really well! I have cleared up some counter space and utilized some wall space that was previously useless. The magnetic strip works like a charm on both my steel knives and my ceramic ones. They hang without any slipping at all. Something that I really appreciated is that part of the packaging was a wall hanging template for the strip. It made it a cinch to get it hung on the wall evenly. The knife sharpener it came with is nothing special. It's really light and I think it would be easier to use if it was more weighted. Also the grip pads on the bottom are kind of cheap feeling and don't hold it still as well as it could. It works, but it's not the best.
