Here are my thoughts:

My baby has been getting continuous colds all winter, it's been a nightmare. I wanted something different than the big blue bulb aspirator we have to help clear her nasal passages. Because while it worked well enough, I found it uncomfortable to use. This one is much easier to use. It's got a nice, soft body so it requires little pressure to squeeze. Also, I really love that it comes with a cap to help keep the end clean. I don't think it works quite as well as my previous aspirator because it doesn't have as much suction. But I honestly like that better because I thought the more extreme suction was too intense for my baby. And it still works well enough to get the job done.
