Here are my thoughts:

I am definitely not an experienced painter, but I have used nice brushes before and I have used terrible brushes before. This set is not of the crappy variety. Each brush was individually wrapped and the bristles are all silky soft, thick and perfectly shaped. Not one single bristle has come out of any of the brushes, even after painting with them and cleaning them several times. I also really love the sketch pencil it came with. It can go on very dark and it looks really good on sketch paper. The best part though is the price. It is so inexpensive for such nice quality.
